Competitor Watch: a clear record of what changed
Prepare a source-backed competitor change brief without confusing a claim, an observation and a verified change.
Choose a narrow watch question
Select the business, product or public offering you are comparing and the question that matters: availability, feature scope, service terms or a published price. Use public sources and respect their access rules.
Record before and after
Keep the source URL and dated earlier and current observations. With only one observation, label the item first observed; do not assert when a change happened or what the earlier state was.
Separate fact from interpretation
Quote only what is needed and link the original source. Summarize the observed difference, then separately explain possible relevance and remaining uncertainty. A planned launch is not a released feature, and a vendor claim is not independent verification.
Use a repeatable brief
For each item, record subject, source, published date if available, observed date, earlier evidence, current evidence, difference, possible impact, confidence limits and the next check. An unavailable page is not proof that a feature or business disappeared.
Current service status
This is a preparation guide, not a live competitor-monitoring feed. No companies are enrolled, no sources are being collected automatically, no alerts are delivered and no monitoring schedule is active. There are no fabricated findings or customer results.
